An event that streams children is not a feature you switch on and clean up afterwards. Before a single camera goes live, the school collects per-event consent from guardians through the consent module — who agrees, for which child, for this event.
A guardian who says no is designed for. The run-of-show keeps that child out of the camera's frame; nobody is named, nobody is singled out. Opting out is a normal choice, not a spotlight.
Minds change, and the structure expects it. If a guardian withdraws after the event, the clip is redacted from the recording. A school can revoke a stream and make it private again at any time — instantly enough that a mistake is not a permanent one.
Stream your next annual day, sports day or farewell to the families who could not make it — consent-first, audio-first, on your school's own player.
