School Events

Your school's annual day, on the phones of the families who could not be there.

School-event streaming is the heart of eduz.live: the annual day, the sports day, the farewell — carried home, on your school's own branded player, with a child on camera only when a guardian has agreed.

Consent-first, by structure

The consent gate comes first, not last

An event that streams children is not a feature you switch on and clean up afterwards. Before a single camera goes live, the school collects per-event consent from guardians through the consent module — who agrees, for which child, for this event.

A guardian who says no is designed for. The run-of-show keeps that child out of the camera's frame; nobody is named, nobody is singled out. Opting out is a normal choice, not a spotlight.

Minds change, and the structure expects it. If a guardian withdraws after the event, the clip is redacted from the recording. A school can revoke a stream and make it private again at any time — instantly enough that a mistake is not a permanent one.

How a school streams an event

From the hall to a family phone

01
Collect consent
The school gathers guardian consent per event through the consent module before anything goes live. Refusals shape the camera plan; they never shape how a child is treated in the hall.
02
Stream on your player
The event plays on a school-branded player carrying your name and look. Families reach it through a link the school controls — open to all, or limited to the verified roster.
03
Audio when the network is thin
An audio rung sits under the video so a relative on a weak evening network still hears the annual day even if the picture cannot hold. The moment carries by sound when it cannot carry by sight.
04
A keepsake to keep
The recording stays family-scoped — it does not become a public video of someone's child. Families can save the moment as a keepsake; the school sets how long it is kept.
The honest picture

What we promise families

🔉
Audio-first
When 2G is all the evening gives, the audio rung keeps the event playing. You hear the annual day even when the video cannot come through.
📱
On the phone they have
Low-data by default and built for low-end devices, so a grandparent on a basic phone can watch without a special app or a fast connection.
🔒
Family-scoped, private
No public exposure of a child. The stream and its recording stay within the families the school chooses, and a school can make it private again at any moment.

Bring the hall home.

Stream your next annual day, sports day or farewell to the families who could not make it — consent-first, audio-first, on your school's own player.
